Winner announcement and a Thank You

It is with a heart seeped in gratitude that I now pen my 100th blog post for Pomegranate Days.I am deeply grateful for the 100 steps which each of these past blog posts represents.  I am grateful for what the experience of writing this blog has taught me, mostly about myself.
I am grateful for the opportunities that this blog has brought into my life and I am deeply grateful for the doors of learning, creativity and excitement which have been flung open since I started occupying my own little corner of the enormous inter web.I am grateful for the people this blog continues to bring across my path, the virtual friends, the virtual friends turned real friends, the old friends who keep up with me via this blog.

I even love all the people who still do not know what a blog is, and look at me quizzically when I mention blogging; I am grateful for them too because they remind that this is not the only world I inhabit.I am so enormously grateful for many who return again and again to read the words I have written.I bask in the warmth of your support and when you reach out to me via email or twitter or Facebook or plain old text message, my excitement for what Kate and I do here gains momentum, and we go shopping and buy props or microphone stands or other weird things to enhance what we do.

Its a fun and rewarding piece of my life, and I am a better me for doing it.It is so fitting then I think, celebrating blogging as I am, that the winner of the incredible two night stay at Quarters Hermanus courtesy of Plan Red randomly selected by rafflecopter.org is another blogger. So lets not waste one more second; time for the winner announcement:

Congratulations
Betty Bake! I do hope that you enjoy your wonderful stay at Quarters Hermanus.
